Vicksburg Strings Program

Learn to play the Violin or Viola in a fun class offered at your school!

The Vicksburg Strings Program is open to 3rd through 5th graders at Vicksburg Community Schools. Classes meet in the mornings before school 2 days a week whenever school is in session. The program is administered by the Crescendo Academy of Music in Kalamazoo, and is taught by teaching artists Timothy Cuffman and Nicholas Jeffery. We strive to make classes fun and engaging and to spread the joy of music making to any child who is interested in learning! Here are a couple videos from our last recital.

My daughter really enjoyed her violin lessons with Mr. Nick Jeffery. He is such a kind and patient teacher who makes learning fun while also helping students grow. She has gained so much confidence and skill under his guidance. Mr. Nick really cares about his students and their progress. I am really grateful for the positive impact he has had on my daughter’s musical journey. I’d definitely recommend him to any parent looking for a great violin teacher.
